Don’t miss this great opportunity to discover the richness and beauty of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu!!
Significant emphasis will be put on developing a stone will through traditional Chinese martial art exercises in a respectful and dynamic environment. Students will be taught the core of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu through a series of basic stances, punches, kicks, chin-na (grappling/locks), forms and meditation.
BEGINNERS: No previous experience in the martial arts is required to attend this class. You’re not the athletic type? No worries. Our beginners’ class has been tailored to help you gain both mental and physical discipline. Students of the Stonelion Kung Fu Academy are taught in a non-competitive environment, and each student is encouraged to learn at his/her own pace.
INTERMEDIATES: Most of our intermediate students have trained for at least one (1) session at the beginner’s level. The intermediate class builds upon the foundation acquired in the beginners’ class.
Both classes will introduce students to the many aspects of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, such as:
- Traditional Forms
- Kicks
- Punches
- Blocks
- Chin-Na (grappling / locks)
- Throws
- Martial Applications (self-defense)
- Meditation
